Father's Day

Today is Father's Day.

I have not thought of what to get as gift.
I have not thought of where to go for dinner.
In fact, I have never celebrated Father's Day in my whole life.

No merchants had earned a single cent from me.
No restaurants had taken any reservations from me either.

My father, someone whom I only knew for 11 years, passed away on Father's Day 1986.

And that's the way he wants me to remember him and never forgets - my father on Father's Day.

A bittersweet day.
